With more than twenty years of scuba diving experience, including fifteen years in Cancun, Scuba Fred's is your perfect choice for professional, experienced instructors and guides. Scuba Fred's is owned and operated by divers who understand what divers need and want, letting us provide you, the client, with the safe, exciting adventure you desire.
Our staff is multilingual, teaching both in Spanish and English, with German and Dutch classes also available. Scuba diving certifications are issued in both PADI and NAUI, along with Universal Dive Referrals services. Whatever your certification agency, we're both trained and prepared to deliver the training and service you're looking for. If you're already certified and looking for a new experience, our scuba diving and snorkeling trips are sure to please.

Scuba Fred's operates out of The Clipper Club, located at Blvd. Kukulcan Km 8.5, right in the hotel zone of Cancun. We're directly across from the Convention Center, behind Plaza la Fiesta. Before you go, print out a map.

My husband and I have taken several Resort Courses so we could dive without going through the complete certification process. Scuba Fred's was by far the best ever! It was very clear and complete. The practice time in the pool with Fred was very reassuring and built our confidence! The two dives were fun and relaxing. Alfredo and Fernando were our Dive Masters and they were incredible!!!

While visiting Cancun, myself and a friend decided to go Scuba Diving with Scuba Fred's... After completing a medical form, Alfredo informed my friend that he would not be able to do his first dive ever because of a prior heart surgery. I was very surprised that they didn't just take our money and let my friend go but to actually turn down a customer due to safety reasons. That says to me that Scuba Fred's is a top class operation. They refunded the $20.00 to my friend and gave him a ride back to the hotel. I continued with the dive (2 tanks) and was very impressed with the safety precautions demonstrated by the employees... I would highly recommend Scuba Fred's.

we had a training session in the morning then headed out to sea with a stunning view running alongside cancun. The first dive was at the underwater museum, absolutely AMAZING!!! at the coral reef, which was also stunningly beautiful, we swam alongside a turtle and saw lots of tropical fish. our trainer was alongside the whole time taking GREAT snap shots of me and my partner, which after we purcahsed at a very reasonable price. overall our experience was 110% FANTASTIC and much MUCH more!!
